We don’t email interview questions, expect you to record yourself, or sell books made with AI. We walk you through every step & craft your story by hand.

Your family in the spotlight.

Packages that fit your budget.

The things you’ve always wanted to ask.
The stories you want to keep forever.

Three steps.

  • Black and white photo of four men sitting around a table in a room with large window viewing the sky, engaged in conversation.

    Meet

An in-person or Zoom/phone call gets us acquainted & defines the project and its goals.

  • Black and white photograph of a vintage reel-to-reel tape recorder on a table. The tape recorder has two large reels with tape wound around them, various knobs, and meters. A pair of over-ear headphones rests on top of the recorder.

    Record

We interview the storyteller, recording in-person or remotely, using our initial discussions as a guide.

  • Black and white photograph of vintage radios and headphones placed on a wooden floor.

    Craft

We craft the storyteller’s words into a forever heirloom as audio, video, or a customized book.

Each project is designed & managed by Elizabeth Meister & Dan Collison: award-winning contributors to NPR, This American Life, & consultants to the national oral history project, StoryCorps. We’re pros that care immensely about our craft, & we have a lifetime of experience creating comfortable spaces for people to share their stories.
